Hybrid Learning

Students who were assigned in-person prior to the Thanksgiving Break will return to the classroom on Monday, December 7, 2020. For those that were virtual prior to the break, they will remain virtual.  The instructional day begins at 9:10 and ends at 3:07.  Students will be assigned an hour of asychronous work to do after school.

Please ensure that your child is at school on time or for our virtual learners - logged into Teams for instruction, by 9:10 each class day. If you have any questions regarding your child's assignments, please reach out to their teacher. Welcome to Woerner Principal's Corner

Hello! My name is Margaret (Peggy) Meyer, and I am the principal here at Woerner School. I have been working at Woerner since 2000, first as a teacher, then as Assistant Principal, and now as Principal. I truly love the staff and students at Woerner, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! Woerner School is a neighborhood elementary school that serves students in Preschool through 5^th grade. The staff at Woerner School is committed to ensuring the success of all of our students both academically and socially. We have strong academic and character education programs that help develop the whole child.  Woerner is a top choice for many families in our surrounding neighborhood.  We recently received both the Missouri State School of Character Award and the coveted National School of Character Award.  Our student body is very diverse.
