    Greetings Oak Hill Families,

     We are excited to welcome our PreK-2nd grade students who selected in person learning beginning Monday, October 19, 2020 and students in grades 3-5 on October 26, 2020. The Oak Hill Team is ready, geared up, and committed to providing a successful and safe transition to in person learning. We want to assure you that whether in person or virtual, we will continue to provide high quality instruction while continuing to operate using a blended instructional model.    

     What families need to know:

    • School begins at 9:10am and ends at 3:07pm for in person and virtual learning.

    • ALL students who qualify for transportation will receive a bus letter regardless of the selection of in person learning or virtual. Learning preferences are for second quarter and are based on social distancing capacity.

    • Walkers and bus riders must enter through Door 6 on the Osceola side. PreK students must enter through Door 7 on the Osceola side.

    • Students’ temperature will be checked at school. Students with a temperature of 100.4 degrees and above will be placed in a recovery room for parent/guardian pickup.

    • Every classroom is setup to adhere to social distancing guidelines and has the necessary supplies to keep the classroom sanitized throughout the day.

    • Handwashing/sanitizing/restroom breaks are scheduled for each class throughout the day.

    • Students will eat breakfast and lunch in the classroom with staff supervision.

    • Students will participate in recess adhering to all CDC safety guidelines.

    • Parents/guardians picking up students must wait outside on the playground for their student by Door 2.

    • If you need to meet with a teacher, please contact the teacher via ClassDojo to schedule a ZOOM or TEAMS meeting.

    • It is recommended that ALL visitors call the school to schedule an appointment prior to coming to the school. ALL visitors are required to wear a mask and pass the health screening.

    Greetings Oak Hill Families,
     

     Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! This is going to be a school year like no other school year before as we live amidst a global pandemic that has no immediate end in sight and through a period of civil unrest in our community. Although we have had to pivot from the traditional way of educating our students, rest assured that the Oak Hill Team is ready, geared up, and committed to providing our students with a most exceptional academic virtual learning experience. With that said, we want to develop a partnership with you, as you are integral part of your child’s education.  It is through this partnership that your child can thrive academically. Please note the following:

    • Registration is open. The documents needed for registration are: birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residency (lease agreement or unpaid utility bill), parent/guardian ID
    • Technology distribution will begin on Wednesday, August 26 - Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 8:30a-3:00p and Friday, August 28, 2020 from 8:30a-1:30p. (All students in grades K-5 will receive technology.)
    • There is no need to purchase school supplies as school supplies will be given to each student during technology pick-up
    •  Virtual Open House-Meet the Teacher will take place on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 2:00p-3:00p.
    • Visit Oak Hill’s school website for the most updated information regarding virtual instruction.
